- You need 300 g Bhetki
- You need 2 teaspoon vinegar
- You need 1 Lemon
- Take 1 teaspoon Jeera powder
- Take 1 tablespoon Cornflour
- Prepare 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- Provide 1 teaspoon chilli powder
- Get 30 g poshto/khuskhus
- You need 4-5 pieces cashews
- Take 30 g curd
- You need 1 small tomato
- Provide 1 large sized onion
- Take 1 tablespoon Ginger paste
- Take 5-6 pieces Garlic cloves
- Use 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Get 1-2 bay leaves
- Take To taste Salt
- Get As needed oil
Instructions to make Bhetki Korma:
- Clean the fish pieces and marinate with half Lemon, salt and vinegar for 30 mins
- Clean the marinated pieces with water and mix with lemon, salt and mustard oil and keep it aside for 15-20 mins
- Put some Cornflour powder on the pieces and fry the pieces till golden brown (egg white also can be used with Cornflour)
- Heat some oil in a pan and add Jeera seeds, bay leaves till it crackles
- Add the cut onions and garlic and saute till golden brown. Add Ginger paste and saute till the masala is cooked
- Prepare the poshto paste- grind poshto into a dry powder and mix cashew paste, curd, Jeera powder, chilli powder, salt into this
- Add the above masala into the pan and let it cook for few mins
- Once masala is well cooked add some water and bring it to boil. Add the fried fish pieces to it and let it boil for 5 mins
- Add Garam masala at the end and remove. Serve with Rice
