  1. Prepare 1 spray olive oil
  2. Use 1 lb lean ground beef
  3. Prepare 1 onion diced
  4. Take 1 red pepper diced
  5. Prepare 1 yellow pepper diced
  6. You need 2 serrano or jalapeno peppers finely chopped
  7. Prepare 1 tin chopped tomatoes with basil
  8. You need 1 tin red kidney beans
  9. You need 2 clove garlic crushed
  10. Use 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  11. Get 1 cup water
  12. You need 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  13. Take 1 chilli powder to taste
  14. Take 1 salt and pepper to taste
  15. Use 4 tbsp sour cream for serving

  1. Heat a skillet over a medium temperature, spray lightly with olive oil. In small batches brown the ground beef. Drain the excess fat with each batch.
  2. Place the ground beef into the crock pot.
  3. Empty the tin of kidney beans into a sieve and rinse well before adding to the beef.
  4. Add all the other ingredients apart from the sour cream. I use approx. 3 tbsp. of chili powder which I would say is a medium heat. Stir well.
  5. Leave to cook on a low heat for 6 hours or a medium heat for 4 hours.
  6. Serve with rice and 1tbsp of sour cream.
