- Use 1/2 kg Chicken
- Prepare 2 Onion – (chopped)
- Prepare 2 Tomato – (Chopped)
- Use 2 Green Chilli
- You need as needed Coriander Leaves
- Use 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- Get 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- Provide 3 tsp Coriander Powder
- Take 1 1/2-2 tsp Chilli Powder
- Provide 1 tsp Garam masala Powder
- Use 1 tsp Pepper Powder
- Use as per taste Salt
- Prepare 1 1/2 cup Water
- Provide 3 tbsp Oil
- Prepare 1 Cinnamon stick
- Use 2 Cloves
- Provide 1 Bay leaf
- Provide 2 Cardamom
- Prepare 1 Star Anise
Steps to make Chicken Gravy/ Chicken masala:
- Heat Oil and add Whole Spices (Cinnamon stick, Bay leaf, Cloves, Cardamom, Star Anise).
- Add onion, Green chilli. Saute well.
- Add Ginger Garlic paste. Saute till the raw smell goes.
- Add tomato. Cook till mushy.
- Then add chicken pieces and add all powders(except pepper powder) and salt. - Mix well and add 11/2 cup water. Cover and cook till the chicken is done.
- Finally add pepper powder. Cook this for 2 mins. - Garnish with Coriander leaves and serve.
