The ingredients needed to make Chicken gravy:
- Use For Marination ingredients-
- Provide 1/2 Kg chicken
- Use 2 spoon curd
- Use 1/2 lemon juice
- Provide 1 spoon red chilli powder (according to your taste)
- You need 1 spoon coriander powder
- Take 1/4 spoon turmeric powder
- Use 1/2 spoon pepper powder
- Take 1 1/2 spoon ginger garlic paste
- Provide as per taste Salt
- Take 1 spoon chicken masala
- Provide For Gravy ingredients-
- Provide 1/2 spoon cumin seeds
- Get 1/2 spoon pepper cons
- Use 1 bay leaf
- Use 2 cloves
- You need 2 onions finely chopped
- You need 1 grated tomato
- Provide 2 green chillies
Instructions to make Chicken gravy:
- Wash chicken properly and then marinate it with the above-mentioned ingredients. Once all mixed and set properly let it sit in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Once the chicken is marinated well let’s start with adding 2 spoons of gingelly oil, cumin seeds, bay leaf, cloves and pepper cons. Sauté it for a minute.
- Add green chillies, then finely chopped onions and sauté it till it becomes golden brown colour (adding pinch of salt will speed up the cooking of onions) then add grated tomato in.
- Once everything is heated and cooked well add the marinated chicken in and mix it well.
- Wait for the chicken to release water then add water according to your desired quantity for gravy. Let it cook well for 15 to 20 mins.
- Once oil gets separate and chicken is cooked well (use a fork to check if chicken is soft and cooked well) taste the gravy and add salt if needed.
- If you need it dry add little water and cook until water completely evaporates
